Prices and payment

How are your prices set?

Each coin has a price per coin, shown on its page and in your cart before checkout. Where a coin has a lower price for larger quantities, its page lists each quantity and price, and your cart applies the right one automatically. See how our prices work.

Can your prices change?

Yes. Bullion prices follow the silver market, so we update our coin prices from time to time. The price in your cart when you place your order is the price you pay, and it does not change after you order.

Do you charge sales tax?

Sales tax, where your state applies it to bullion, is calculated at checkout from your shipping address and shown as its own line before you pay. Prices on coin pages do not include tax. Some states exempt precious-metal bullion from sales tax, in which case none is added.

Which payment methods do you accept?

The payment methods available to you are listed at checkout. If a method costs more or less to process, the difference appears as its own fee or discount line, labelled with the percentage, before you place your order. We do not see or store your full card number.

Why might you ask for my ID?

Precious-metals dealers must take steps to prevent money laundering. For orders above a set amount we ask for a photo ID before the order ships. Checkout tells you if this applies, and you upload the ID securely on the order confirmation page. It is stored privately and used only for this check.

The coins

Are your Silver Eagles new?

Yes. Every coin we sell is a Brilliant Uncirculated Eagle Coin Bullions bullion coin, struck by the United States Mint and never circulated. Brilliant Uncirculated describes condition; it is not a grade from a grading service, and the coins do not come in graded holders. Small marks from minting and bulk packing are normal.

Which years do you sell?

We list Eagle Coin Bullions from 2020 to the current year, each on its own page with its design and price. Availability depends on our stock, and each coin page says whether that year is in stock. You can search by year from the search box at the top of every page.

What is the difference between Type 1 and Type 2?

Type 1 coins, made from 1986 to mid-2021, show a heraldic eagle behind a shield. Type 2 coins, made since mid-2021, show an eagle landing with an oak branch. Both hold one troy ounce of 0.999 silver. Our Type 1 vs Type 2 guide explains how to tell them apart.

Shipping, cancellations and returns

Where do you ship?

We ship to addresses in the United States only. Orders are usually processed within 1–2 business days and sent by USPS, UPS or FedEx with tracking. Delivery usually takes 5–7 business days in total. The shipping cost is shown in your cart before checkout, and larger orders may need a signature on delivery.

Can I cancel my order?

You can ask to cancel an order before it enters processing or ships. Contact us as soon as possible with your order number. Once an order is being processed or has shipped it can no longer be cancelled, but it may be eligible for return under our Refund & Return Policy. See our Order Cancellation Policy.

What is your return policy?

Eligible coins may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Contact us before sending anything back, and we will give you return instructions. Coins must be unaltered and undamaged, in their original packaging. Refunds go to your original payment method after we receive and inspect the return. Full details are in our Refund & Return Policy.

My parcel is late or arrived damaged. What should I do?

Contact us within three business days of the carrier’s delivery date with your order number. For a damaged parcel, keep all packaging and send photos of the box, packing and coins. For a missing parcel we may ask you to sign a Certificate of Non-Receipt so we can file a claim with the carrier.
