About the 2026 American Silver Eagle
The 2026 coin carries Adolph A. Weinman’s Walking Liberty on the obverse and Emily Damstra’s eagle landing with an oak branch on the reverse, the Type 2 design used since mid-2021. 2026 is the program’s 40th year, as the first Silver Eagles were struck in 1986; the bullion coin keeps the regular design. As the newest date, it is the year most buyers choose for straightforward silver ownership.
