Description
The 2023 American Silver Eagle carries the Type 2 design: Adolph A. Weinman’s Walking Liberty on the obverse and Emily Damstra’s eagle landing with an oak branch (Type 2) on the reverse.
Each coin is struck by the United States Mint from one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver, carries a $1 face value, measures 40.6 mm across and has a reeded edge. Coins are sold in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, as struck for bullion: they are not third-party graded and do not come in a graded holder.
It is a practical choice for buyers who want recent-date coins with the current design at a price that is often close to the current year’s.
