Description

The 2024 American Silver Eagle uses the current Type 2 design: Adolph A. Weinman’s Walking Liberty on the obverse and Emily Damstra’s eagle landing with an oak branch (Type 2) on the reverse.

Each coin is struck by the United States Mint from one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver, carries a $1 face value, measures 40.6 mm across and has a reeded edge. Coins are sold in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, as struck for bullion: they are not third-party graded and do not come in a graded holder.

Like every bullion Silver Eagle, the 2024 coin carries no mint mark, so coins struck at different US Mint facilities look the same.
