Description

The 2026 American Silver Eagle is the current-year coin. It carries Adolph A. Weinman’s Walking Liberty on the obverse and Emily Damstra’s eagle landing with an oak branch (Type 2) on the reverse.

Each coin is struck by the United States Mint from one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver, carries a $1 face value, measures 40.6 mm across and has a reeded edge. Coins are sold in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, as struck for bullion: they are not third-party graded and do not come in a graded holder.

2026 marks forty years since the first American Silver Eagles were struck in 1986. The bullion coin keeps the regular Type 2 design.
